2008 International Photo Contest
Submission Guidelines Checklist

1. Due date: September 15th, 2008 4:30pm (to: Alison Peppers c/o of the International Student Center)
2. Eligibility: Current student or SDSU Alum (graduation date not to exceed Spring 2006)
3. The submission needs to reflect the theme, “When your heart speaks, take good notes,” (Three Cups of Tea, p.33).
4. Photo criteria:
   • Size: Minimum 8x10, Maximum 16x20
   • Color: Black/white or color,
   • Printing: Photos must be printed on photo quality paper, glossy or matte. We will only accept printed photos (do not email your photos).
   • Attach a label to the back of each photo with your name and location of the photograph.
5. Narrative Criteria:
   • Narrative identifies the location of the photo and relation to the theme, “When your heart speaks take good notes.”
   • 50 words or less, 14 point, Arial type font.
6. In addition to including your narrative to the photo submission, email the narrative to Alison Peppers c/o the International Student Center at: apeppers@mail.sdsu.edu include your name and red id number in the email.
7. Limit 2 submissions per person
8. Complete submissions including photo and narrative needs to be mailed to the International Student Center (address below) or hand delivered by September 15th, 2008 4:30pm
