Compact Scholars Program Student Agreement
The SDSU Compact Scholars Program provides support and direction to enhance academic success, student involvement, and graduation from SDSU. To ensure your success as a Compact Scholar, you must work cooperatively with the CSP to develop your personalized education plan and make a commitment to the responsibilities outlined below:
  1. Compact Scholars agree to maintain full time status at 30 units each academic year (may include summer) and to maintain continuous enrollment at SDSU.
  2. Compact Scholars must participate in CSP-sponsored programs and activities to include: LINCs courses in the Freshman Success Program and a University Seminar in the fall.
  3. Compact Scholars are required to meet with their advisors every year. These appointments are to update student progress toward the degree and to notify the Compact Scholars Director if difficulties are encountered.
  4. Compact Scholars should inform the Director if they are participating in other support service programs (e.g., EOP, Faculty-Student Mentoring Programs, University Honors Program, MESA Engineering Program, Health Career Opportunity Program, etc.)
  5. On occasion, Compact Scholars will be asked to represent the SDSU Compact Scholars Program at community and campus events throughout their four years at SDSU.
  6. The Compact Scholarship will be awarded to eligible students with demonstrated financial need as long as they are in good standing as a Compact Scholar for a maximum of up to four years. Students who do not participate in mandatory CSP activities and programs, and/or students who leave the program are not eligible for the scholarship.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the termination of your Compact Scholars status, services, and/or scholarship.
