Upon request, Collegeboard will send your scores to SDSU and they will make the necessary adjustments to your transcript. This process takes some time. Ideally, you should check your unofficial transcript and/or request a degree audit at the end of the semester to ensure your AP credit has been applied.

How do I know which classes to register for?
The Office of Advising and Evaluation can help with all questions relating to your schedule and the classes you need to take. The best time to see an advisor is before you have a problem. You can also review the checklist to determine the steps needed to take each year at SDSU. The Office of Advising and Evaluation is open Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Phone: (619) 594-6668What do I do if I get an F?

What is course forgiveness? When should I use it?
You can repeat a course under course forgiveness if you earned a C- or lower. While the original grade(s) will remain on your transcript, course forgiveness removes the old grade and replaces it with the new grade which is calculated in your GPA. Learn more! What happens if I’m put on Academic Probation?
Once on probation, you must maintain a term grade point average of 2.00. If you fall below a 2.00 in any term after on probation, you will become disqualified. I can’t register for the classes I need. All sections are full! What do I do???
- Note that departments are monitoring closed classes and will add sections or additional spaces in sections to meet the demand.
- Keep checking!! This is always helpful, but will be more important during sophomore registration times.
- Contact the department the class is in and ask if they have any alternative courses which may fulfill the same requirement.
If I have 3 finals on the same day, can I re-schedule them?
To re-schedule a final exam, you will need to contact the instructor of that exam and see if he or she will accommodate a different exam time.
What happens if I don’t pay my registration fees by the deadline?
You can not register for classes until you pay your registration fees. If you pay your registration fees past your deadline date, an extra $20 late fee will apply.
