Compact Scholars University Seminar

Adding University Seminar to your Fall 2008 Schedule:
Because the schedule number is restricted, you can't just click and add.
You must click on "add a class" and a screen will open that includes a box into which you insert the schedule number.

The Compact Scholars University Seminar is an integral component of the CSP and it is mandatory for all Compact Scholars to participate. This one-unit course provides the Compact Scholars a unique opportunity to interact in a small group setting with a faculty and/or staff member. The University Seminar will be a conduit for students to build meaningful connections and friendships right at the inception of their college careers.

In the University Seminar students will not only gain familiarity with each other, but they will also be introduced to vital campus resources including the library, academic advising, career planning, and health and wellness services. The goal of the University Seminar is to assist students in the transition from high school to college and to promote greater academic learning and involvement on campus.
