2007-2008 Volunteer, Leadership and Employment Opportunities

Volunteer and Leadership Opportunities
8th Annual Compact for Success 7th Grade Campus Visit to SDSU
This event will take place Saturday, April 26th from 8am—2pm at SDSU. We will need
volunteers to pass out informational bags to the students and their families, direct visitors to
various places on campus, sit at the CSP table to pass out information and participate on a CSP student panel to answer any questions students and parents might have about college life.
Compact Scholars Student Organization *NEW Scholars for Success*
Put your leadership skills to use and make the CSP everything you want it to be. As a member of the CSP student organization you will be able to hold meetings to plan pizza parties, movie nights, community service projects, pool parties, and anything else you want to see in the program. This organization will be the heart and soul of the CSP and will aim to make a difference on the campus of San Diego State University.
11th Grade Assemblies (Spring 2008)
These assemblies take place on various days throughout the spring semester. We will need
Compact Scholars to come with us to the different Sweetwater High Schools to inform them about the program, about your experience, and to make sure they remain on track to become a Compact Scholar.
