Our MISSION: To promote student success by providing for all undergraduate students specific academic pathways to world-class intellectual resources and transformative experiences. In our quest to support every San Diego State undergraduate student, we feature programs that prepare students even prior to applying for college admission, academic programs that serve students directly, campus-wide student success programs that feature collaboration with student affairs and the academic colleges, and faculty-oriented programs to improve teaching and learning and to assist the SDSU community to create more effective and efficient curricula.

Our VISION: To ensure an undergraduate experience for every student, regardless of major, that is characterized by intentional student learning within the classroom and carefully integrated with authentic, powerful, and positive learning experiences beyond the classroom—from participating in learning communities and common intellectual experiences, to engaging in study abroad, undergraduate research, and community based service learning experiences.
