SDSU BRIDGES is a group of dynamic women convened to promote SDSU to the community. It was established in 2000 by Susan K. Weber, the wife of the seventh president of San Diego State University.
The organization meets monthly to enhance knowledge and "Bridge" the University with the community.
SDSU BRIDGES supports lifelong learning by linking the community to the university, showcasing programs, and providing scholarships.
Applications for membership can be obtained from the Dean of Undergraduate Studies Office. A financial commitment is needed to sustain the organization and its programs.
In 2011 a scholarship was named in honor of Susan Weber to be awarded to undergraduate honor student(s).
