CAREER SERVICES - SUPPORT FOR UNDECLARED MAJORS

Undeclared students have the benefit of utilizing SDSU's Career Services, as they discover their interests. Whether meeting with a career counselor, utilizing the career resource room, on-campus interviewing, or assessments, Career Services will support undeclared students in choosing a major.

CREATE YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE IN AZTEC CAREER CONNECTION

All students are required to create a personal profile in Aztec Career Connection. This service offered by Career Services allows you to create a profile which will help Career Services better connect you to a secure website listing thousands of jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. This system also allows you to upload resumes and cover letters, schedule on-campus interviews, and sign up for workshops and information sessions. Use your RedID to sign in and get started today! https://sdsu-csm.symplicity.com/students/

UNDECLARED MAJORS: ATTEND A MINIMUM OF TWO CAREER SERVICES EVENTS

All undeclared students are encouraged to attend a minimum of two Career Services events in the fall semester. https://newscenter.sdsu.edu/dus/undeclared/events.aspx?

CLARIFY YOUR INTERESTS AND GAIN INSIGHT INTO MAJORS OR CAREERS WHICH MATCH YOUR PERSONALITY

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the assessment tools at Career Services. Assessment tools are available to SDSU students with a referral from a career counselor during an appointment, or during the Fast 15 walk-in hours. Assessments can help you clarify your interests and help you choose a major and career path that fits with your personality! FocusType, which defines your personality type, is one assessment offered through Career Services that is free after you register with Aztec Career Connection. Other assessments can be found here: http://go.sdsu.edu/student_affairs/career/assessmenttools.aspx?
