*M205A - The basic Musicianship Test is a prerequisite for admission to this class. Candidates receiving less than 60% on this test may be required to complete M105A and M105B as a prerequisite to M205A. This test is given each semester prior to the beginning of classes. Please sign up in Music/Dance Office, M111.

#M251/451 - To qualify for M251 students must pass a performance entrance audition on their instrument or voice. Please see the Music Undergraduate Handbook, available at the Music/Dance Office, M111, for details. The student must usher at four concerts to receive credit for their first unit of M251 and perform in a divisional recital for each additional unit of individual study. In addition, the student must attend 12 approved music concerts for each unit of M251/451.

+M110A/B/C -If a student has had previous piano instruction, they may take a placement test to possibly waive one or more semesters of this series. This test is given each semester prior to the beginning of classes. Please sign-up in the Music/Dance Office, M111. If a student has had no previous keyboard instruction they may automatically enroll in M110A.
