PORTFOLIO GUIDELINES and LS 498 COURSE MATERIALS

The Liberal Studies portfolio is a graduation requirement. All programs at SDSU are required to include an SDSU assessment. Because students will now be required to take and pass the CSET, the portfolio for spring 2005 and subsequent semesters has been significantly simplified compared to the portfolio required between 1998 and fall 2003.

Portfolio Submission Appointments:

You will need to sign up for a specific appointment time prior to attending a session. Sign-up sheets are now available in the Liberal Studies Office. Appointments are every fifteen minutes. If you cannot come in to the LS office, please contact Professor Egipto at regipto@mail.sdsu.edu after June 6th to request an appointment time. Make sure you give a preferred and alternate time.

Tuesday, June 21		1430-1630 and 1900-2000 (7 to 8pm)
Wednesday, June 22		1130-1330 and 1430-1630
Thursday, June 23		1430-1630

Summer LS 498 class:

LS 498 will meet in SS-1401 on:

Friday, June 3		1500-1700
Friday, June 10		1500-1700
Friday, July 1		1500-1700	Capstones are due this day.
Thursday, July 7		(no meeting)	One reflection draft due to the LS office 9-2:45
